Service Life of Helmets
The manufacturers advise that an ALPHA helmet has a recommended working life, when used professionally i.e. in an ASU of 5 years. The helmets should be inspected annually and regularly serviced and maintained. The helmet may be serviceable for longer than 5 years but only if annually inspected and released as serviceable. From our experience ALPHA Eagle helmets need only an annual service and inspection to maintain their performance and address your Health & Safety maintenance of PPE requirement/liabilities.

Helmet Inspection
Basic safety checks and condition inspection of the ALPHA helmet can be carried out by a suitably trained or experienced person. However it should not replace regular maintenance or full inspection by the Manufacturer or Authorised repair centre. If in any doubt the helmet should be returned to Headset Services Limited for inspection.
