Headset Services Limited have an ISO9001:2015 and EASA Part145 approved workshop where repairs, servicing and modifications are carried out on site. Our highly qualified workshop technicians can also custom build leads, converters and adaptors for bespoke requirements. We have many years of valuable experience and equipment is repaired to the original manufacturer's specifications, released with a Certificate of Conformity or an EASA Form One.
PLEASE NOTE: It is essential that you complete a Repair Form; listing your fullname, address details, contact telephone number and email address, a short description of the fault and that the form be signed, dated and sent with the item. Please make sure to tick a release form, typicallty a 'Certificate of Conformity' will be sufficient. An Address Label will be included and is required to be attached to the side of the parcel. When sending the parcel it is adviseable to insurance it and request a tracking ID number. We are not responsible for your Item until it has safely arrived at our facility and been signed for by a member of our staff.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMERS Our inspection fee of £30 (+ VAT) will be charged to you if you decide not to procedure with the repair. A payment link will be emailed to you.
Where to Send your Repairs
Although the Repair Form will include an address label for our facility in Lancing, you are still more than welcome to drop off the Item. Our offices on Lancing Business Park are open Monday (excluding Bank Holidays) to Friday from 9am until 5pm. The address is Unit 8, 73 Marlborough Road (opposite Paula Rosa offices) on the Lancing Business Park in Lancing, West Sussex, BN15 8AD. If you are planning to visit our facility, it is always advisable to call the day before to book a time slot.
Our Repair Capabilities
We have the ability to repair all types of Aviation Headset such as David Clark (warranty and non-warranty), Sennheiser, Lighspeed (warranty and non-warranty), 3M Peltor, Telex and Holmco. We are no longer a Bose warranty repair centre, however we can still supply Bose A20 cable assemblies and hygiene parts such as ear seals and microphone windsocks.

Fixed Wing and Helicopter Helmets
We also have the ability to repair all types of Alpha Helmet such as the Eagle, the Alpha 900 SAR (Search and Rescue) as well as the Alpha 400 Multi-Fit. As we hold stock of spare parts, turnaround times are short. Please note that we only replace items where necessary, so you will not be charged for a complete overhaul, if the helmet does not require it.
Ground Crew Headsets and Leads
We have the ability to repair 3M Peltor and David Clark Ground Mechanic Headsets and extension leads.
Commercial Aviation and Train Handsets
We are a UK repair centre for many major train operators as well as supporting the service and repair of commercial airline handsets and handmics.
Our Repair Process
Headset Services Limited have an ISO9001:2015 and EASA Part145 approved workshop where repairs, servicing and modifications are carried out on site. Please remember to include our Repair Form when sending items into our facility.
Initial assessment takes place to analyze your item and determine its spec. Next, the item is fully inspected by one of our qualified technicians, and a repair plan is tailor made to address the specific parts to be repaired and/or replaced. Based on these findings, a quotation is produced and sent to the customer for approval.
Non-Account holders will be required to make payment before any work begins. Equipment is repaired to the original manufacturer's specifications and released with a Certificate of Conformity. The normal turnaround time for repairs is 2 - 5 days, pending available parts.
During the Repair and/or Service process, it is recommended that Hygiene Parts such as the Ear Seals and Microphone Windsocks be replaced, thereby maintaining the item's original comfort and performance.
In regard to the Alpha Helmets, our highly qualified workshop technicians can custom build leads, converters and adaptors for bespoke requirements. We can also retro-fit our own Active Noise Reduction system which offers Bluetooth functionality for making/receiving telephone calls.
Items are returned with the use of a professional courier service such as DPD, DHL and UPS, of which provide Tracking Details.
