Marine Transceiver- The IC-M33
is the the world's first marine
VHF transceiver
that floats in water. This
revolutionary new radio has
been designed to be easy to
use and is supplied as standard
with a 980mAh Li-Ion battery
pack provides 9 hours of operating
time. The ergonomic design
of the case means it's easy
to hold and use, even with
gloved hands and as with all
Icom handhelds, it features
a large, easy to read backlit
LCD which clearly shows all
necessary information. Another
innovative feature is the "AquaQuake" draining
function - a vibrating sound
from the loudspeaker clears
water away from the speaker
grille.

If you drop the IC-M33 into
water, the radio comes up
to the surface so that you
can easily retrieve it from
out of the water. As the
radio has a rugged waterproof
body*, it will keep on working
even after it has been submerged.

equivalent to IPX7. Please
note that the IC-M33 is not
designed to be used under
the water
