Night Vision

Night Vision
Headset Services Limted works closely with DO Systems Ltd and FENNS to offer NVG goggles to suit your requirements. We then offer a full consultancy and support service to ensure that the NVG is correctly mounted to your specific helmet. HSL is able to offer complete NVG and helmet packages to ease the logistics of buying this type of equipment.

Night Vision Goggles
ANVIS 6 and 9 goggles are approved for use with the ALPHA helmet. They are mounted on the rigid visor cover so the visors can still be used. There is also a dedicated version of the Alpha Eagle helmet for the FENNS goggles - this is a shell mounted NVG system - not interchanging with the ANVIS STANDARD.

Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) are binocular devices that enhance unaided night vision for pilots. Typically, NVGs are mounted on a pilot’s helmet. This position enables pilots to look through the goggles outside the cockpit or under the goggles at flight instruments. By enabling the pilot to see in the dark, NVGs have the potential to improve the safety of visual flight at night. In most conditions, night vision goggles provide pilots with a significant increase in the quality of visual information compared with unaided night vision. They allow the pilot to see the horizon, objects, terrain and weather more easily.
