Keep your headset working at its best. Ear pads can harden in use with time and this reduces the seal to the head. Replacing hygiene kits regularly ensures that your headset retains maximum attenuation performance. The general hygiene of your headset can be improved by regularly changing the ear pads, foam pads and microphone windsock.

The general hygiene of your headset can be improved by regularly changing the earpads, foam pads and microphone windsock. Headset Services Limited also supplies handy tubs of cleaning wipes – ideal for disinfecting and cleaning your headset before use. Hygiene kits are available for Bose, David Clark, Peltor, Sennheiser, Telex and most common headset types.
		Cotton Ear Covers for Headsets The cotton covers fit over the ear seals of the headset offering a hygienic and comfortable way to extend the life of the seals. HSL is able to supply cotton covers for many of the commercial aviation headsets as well as for the Air Traffic Control industry sector. When headsets are worn for many hours at a time, the ear pads can become warn and uncomfortable. By fitting the cotton covers to the headset ear pads will keep the headset free from perspiration.

Special Pilot Hygiene Packs
Headset Services Limited is now able to offer special hygiene packs for pilot headsets.

There are two hygiene packs available and which are purely dedicated to the Sennheiser HMEC 46 and HMEC 25 series. Each pack consists of 2 ear pads, 4 cotton ear covers, 4 medi wipes, 3 wind socks and 3 plastic cable tidies.

Standard Medi Blue Wipes
Ideal for cleaning and sanitising your headsets and helmets in between users. These effective wet wipes are impregnated with a strong bactericide.

In laboratory tests these wipes have been shown to kill Salmonella, Streptococcus, E.coli, Pseudinomasall and other potentially dangerous bacterium.
