For
use in Medi-vac Aircraft –
Using the Aircraft Intercom
the
system provides communication
between Paramedic and a
casualty Restrained in either
Dynamed or Ferno type Head
blocks.
The
unit is in effect, an aircraft
headset that is
configured to
enable the earphones to ‘’plug
into’’ the head
restraint blocks.
An extended microphone boom
is mounted on the earphone
plug
allowing the casualty to
talk back to the Paramedic.
The mic boom
and cable to plug into the
aircraft system is positioned
on the side
of the casualty away from
the Paramedic. The other
earphone
module, facing the paramedic,
has a volume control and
a locking
switch that cuts off the
patient’s earphones
so the paramedic can
talk to the pilot on the
intercom confidentially.
The standard version
has an M4 microphone but
other versions are available
with Peltor
communications or to Military
specifications. Units are
available
with a variety of plugs to
suit all aircraft installations.

looms are
sealed to ensure
minimum water

in ear headset for
Search and Rescue applications.
Designed to interface
with the Polycon
Waterproof Radio System. The headset offers clear
communications in a high noise environment and excellent
ear protection. It can be worn under Diver’s Neoprene
Balaclava or helmet. Available with generic or custom
moulded ear tips as preferred.
