Racal Acoustic RA112 Jetlite Headset
The Jetlite consists of a lightweight spring headband onto which are fitted two tough moulded earshells with integral earphones. A selection of ear cushions are available; circumaural (around the ear), supra aural (on the ear), which allows air flow around the ear in humid working conditions. The replaceable padded headband cover offers both stability and comfort to the user for long periods without undue pressure.

A series of microphones are available offering optional impedances and sensitivities. The knuckle joint on the boom arm permits precise adjustment for the individual and allows parking of the microphone when not in use. The boom arm traverses through 270° allowing the headset to be worn with the boom mic on the right or left hand side. An amplifier to simulate carbon microphone performance can be fitted inside the earshell, if required. The headset is supplied with a 2m cable, unterminated as standard. However, alternative cable lengths, PTT switches and connectors can be fitted to suit the user’s specific requirements.The upper termination is a quick release connector which interfaces with the headset downlead.
