The Alpha series of helmets from HISL are ultra-light and designed for use in helicopters and fixed wing, non-ejection seat aircraft. The multi-function Alpha 900 Series (aka Alpha Eagle™) Weighs only 980 grams and has an exceptionally strong epoxy resin, aramid and carbon fibre construction providing the ultimate in high comfort and protection. Simple rapid adjustment incorporating a unique quick release ratchet system enables the Alpha Eagle™ to be fitted to a wide range of head sizes and shapes, achieving superb retention and balance. The system enables the Alpha Eagle™ to be fitted to a wide range of head shapes and sizes with superb retention and balances. Many of the Alpha helmets are available in range of colours such as Gloss white, yellow, red and dark blue.

HSL offer a versatile range of ANR upgrade kits for ALPHA helmets. The ANR offers approximately 12dB of extra attenuation whilst retaining the passive attenuation and fit of the original helmet. Systems are available with straight or coiled cables, aircraft powered or battery power (simply ‘’plug and play’’ between the two) and even with BOSE aircraft power compatible plugs. The battery interface box can be fitted with any of the common aircraft plugs on coiled or straight cables. In the event of ANR power failure the system fails safe to standard communications.

K Series Helmet

The David Clark Deck Crew Helmet is designed to offer both ear protection and some basic head protection to deck crew and aircraft technicians. It consists of a cloth helmet, which secures the helmet to the head and this has mounted on it hard protective plates, which protect the head from impacts.

The helmet can be supplied purely as a protective ear defender helmet or fitted wih a variety of communication headsets to interface with radios, aircraft or intercom systems. It is available in a range of sizes and is fully repairable. Use of the K10 Helmet Kit will add impact protection to your hearing protector or noise-attenuating headset.

David Clark Series K10 Helmet Kits have three components: A suspension liner, A protective nape pad and An energy-absorbing helmet shell.

The suspension liner is made of brown cotton/polyester cloth and nylon mesh which provides excellent ventilation. One-size-fits-all. The tan-colored helmet shell is a high strength, lightweight, injection-molded nylon, reinforced with energy-absorbing impact pads. The nape pad is a rubber sponge with soft black leather covering. The Helmet Assembly accommodates an oxygen or breathing mask and a variety of commercially available visors and face shields.

The G3000 is developed in close collaboration with forestry workers to meet stringent demands for more effective protection, better ventilation and a wider field of vision. The G3000 is produced in high quality UV-stabilised ABS-plastic and it got top result for absorbing and distributing forces from fallen objects. This helmet is one of the lightest safety helmets on the market. The G3000 have more ventilation holes distributed over a larger area than usually.

Consequently G3000 offers a maximum through flow of air without affecting the helmet’s strength. To improve the field of vision, the G3000 helmet has been designed with a shorter screen, without compromising on anti-dazzle and other properties. The G3000 helmet lining can be turned 180 degrees (and it is CE-approved in this position) – a big advantage for climbing and work in confined spaces. Meets European standard EN 397 with approved extra requirements for electrical insulation (440V), valid for G3001, and low temperature (-30º C).
