Special headset for communication between ground and aircraft cockpit which features high attenuating cups with optimised acoustic design and excellent space for the ears for best possible sound quality and comfort. The microphone has efficient noise compensation for clear and reliable communication and quick positioning integrated microphone boom for easy handling. The ear seals are soft, wide foam and fluid-filled sealing rings and individually sprung headband wires of stainless sprung steel provide an even and consistent distribution of pressure around the ears for best possible comfort.

The beam-mounted earphones provide the least possible resonance and distortion for excellent sound reproduction even in very high noise environments. There are numerous configurations for this headset including overhead, neck-band and helmet attached versions to meet most users requirements.

The Optime range consists of 3 versions. Optime 1 is low profile combined with generous internal depth. The collapsible headband ensures that the hearing protector takes up little space even when not in use. Good attenuation, especially at high frequencies. The attenuation properties of the hearing protector afford excellent communication capacity.
