How
do I know if my Bose X Headset
is still under warranty? The
old version of the Bose Aviation
Headset X was covered by
a two year transferable warranty
and the new improved version
is covered by a five year
transferable warranty. The
old version of the Bose Aviation
Headset X & all series
I and series II are out of
there warranty period and
support for the series I
headset is no longer available.
How
long does the Bose warranty
last for? The
date on the purchase invoice
will be used to determine
if the headset is still
within the warranty period.
In case a headset is sent
in without the purchase
invoice, we will use the
Date Of Manufacturing code
(found in the serial number)
plus 6 months e.g. 031963E62210040E
the 4 digits marked in
bold refer to the Date
Of Manufacture, in this
case
the headset
was manufactured on the
221st day of 2006. If the
serial number starts with
02222 this indicates that
it is the old version of
the Bose Aviation Headset
X therefore is out of its
warranty period.
Can
I buy Bose spare parts? The
vast majority of Bose spares
are not available for purchase
as they can only be fitted
by approved service centres
without invalidating the
warranty of the entire
headset. We are able to
provide microphone covers,
headbands and ear cushions
as accessories.
How
quickly can I get my Bose
X Headset fixed? Our
standard turnaround time
for Bose headsets is 5-10
working days (subject to
availability of parts).
For an extra charge we
also offer an express service
of 1-2 working days (again,
subject to availability
of parts).
How

include a covering letter
with your full address
